How to get on WakeupData CSS (premium Google CSS partner)
How save money on Google Shopping ads with by using a Comparison Shopping Service (CSS)
To get on the WakeupData CSS you will need to contact your WakeupData account manager or support@wakeupdata.com and provide 3 key pieces of information. These pieces of information are:
- Google Ads ID
- Email address for the user
- Feed URL
After sending these pieces of information to support@wakeupdata.com and after the information has been processed by WakeupData you will get an email to confirm your Google Ads ID being linked to the CSS and an email to confirm you as a user.
Once this has been completed you have been onboarded to the CSS.
Switching from another CSS provider to WakeupData CSS
Account switches need to be initiated by the ‘new’ CSS via the CSS Center UI. Contact your account manager at WakeupData or support@wakeupdata.com to request a switch to WakeupData CSS. Please provide the Merchant Center ID to WakeupData to initiate the switch.
Once the switch is initiated by WakeupData CSS, the merchant in question will be alerted via an email notification, and will be able to approve or decline the switch request in the respective Merchant Center account under Account Settings.
Note that only admin users of the Google Merchant Center (GMC) account will be able to approve or decline the switch request.
After an account switch request has been initiated, admins of the respective Merchant Center
account are notified via email and can approve or decline the request in their Merchant Center
account. Please follow the steps below to accept or reject the switch request in Merchant Center
- Log into the Merchant Center that is being switched
- Navigate to the ‘Account Settings’ page
- Under the section ‘Comparison Shopping Service’ click on ‘Review request’ button
- Click ‘Approve’ or ‘Decline’ to complete the process
Once this has been completed you have successfully been on-boarded to the WakeupData CSS.
